Kevin Max
Kevin Max has always been unique. Since his early childhood years of singing, his voice and talents were on the verge of discovery. Years later, after a 14-year tenure with the group dctalk, Max continues to stand out. Stereotype Be, his first solo project, saw him taking risks both lyrically and musically, employing Adrian Belew (King Crimson, David Bowie) and Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, John Lennon) as part of the studio band. A cult following formed and many saw Max as the next Peter Gabriel blending world music and rock but the next project would again alter perceptions. The Imposter was an ode to the struggle between the spirit and the flesh, based on writings by author Brennan Manning, garnering critical raves and new fans worldwide.
